A lot of us roll through stop signs. But you can actually land a ticket by doing that move. A good rule to follow is to spell S-T-O-P and make sure that you check in all directions before you proceed. Also be sure to obey the posted speed limits and to never drive under the influence of alcohol. Always drive responsibly and attentive-like. It's also good to check your mirrors every 6-8 seconds, since road conditions are always changing. Even before you get into your car, be sure to do a pre-check. Check for things like leaks, make sure that your fluids are topped up and that your tires are properly inflated. Also be sure to adjust your seat so that you can comfortably reach your pedals and your mirrors so that you can see as much as you can. A little bit of awareness can go a long way.
